…I know it’s a fews years since Rupert Wyatt’s 2011’s, ‘Rise if the Planet of the Apes’; but posting this as I’ve just watched the film on TV…probably for about the third or fourth time…in which the film somehow seems to get better each time of watching. On this occasion however I was checking the review by Film Review Bible, ‘Empire’ (notwithstanding owning the film of course).

Read a few comments from their review..and this comment struck me as a pretty darn good comm, well, a Review..that has at least the same level of writing quality and opinion as Empire itself. (Alas it’s seems to be a bit of a closed shop clique thingamajig ‘Empire’ have in recruiting new film hacks (though maybe nobody leaves. Yeh, like you’d resign from there.)

PS On your best film: I’ve watched ‘Taxi Driver’ so can’t really comment..will eventually watch it. But I’d be surprised if I’d rate it above one of two of my favourite films of all time, ‘Goodfellas’.

PPS Oh btw,I think ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ probably just gets better and better the last couple of times I’ve watched it..as I suffered from a life-changing heat trauma in 2007 falling into a 24-day coma (preventing me from return to my oh-so exciting finical reporting in The City!! I’ll watch it again and get an even bigger high..
